Will is so kind and gentle with a cheeky smile & grin that makes me smile. And yet you can see that he is feeling every bit of pain the patient and parents feel looking down at their son such. Compassion in his eyes. So glad that he is back, definitely a favorite.

Maitland, you resemble your mother when she was a young girl. I just lost my step-mother to the Alzheimer's disease. She was so lonely since my dad passed from cancer. I understand how you feel. All my parents have passed now. It seems different when you don't have parents anymore. Take care.

My heart breaks for Margaret & Clifford. I also lost a son to suicide and now my other son is fighting a cancer that has no cure . Praying for a miracle for him. So I know their pain . 💔 I have no other children and scared to death of losing him too. They lost their daughter to cancer. I only hope I don't out live my son because he's all I have left other than a brother and a couple good friends. Life is so full of pain. But no pain greater than losing a child except for losing them all. Losing a child to suicide is a whole other level of devastation. So many emotions to deal with like anger , guilt and shame for some parents. You just want to die . But Jesus got me to where I am today ! Always pray for all the lost , hurting parents out there just trying to survive , for everyday is another day trying to survive . Thank you Jesus for walking with me on this journey.

That's ironic considering Britain's socialized medical system rations health care and routinely withholds treatment from people it deems not worth the expense, and goes so far as to take children away from their parents when those parents insist on pursing possibly life saving care outside of the country. British health care, like so much about that country, is an utter failure.

This one hit so close to home. Like Michelle, I have a line for nutrition. Mine is actually directly in my chest. I have been septic at least 8 times, had a few dozen blockages, and have had multiple lines placed. I am coming up on 10 years with a central line, and I am grateful to be alive and functioning. But the level of pain and the sickness can be overwhelming at times.. Hoping that Michelle has a period of stability.

Josiah is the most adorable child IN THE WORLD, hands down, and that whole family is amazing. Michelle has the best attitude. Every time I think, "Why me?" I immediately think, "Why NOT me, though?" and I feel like that's the way we really should view things. It's not like the universe is out there picking on us, shit happens to EVERYONE, just try to do the best you can (and I've had some objectively horrific shit happen in my 60 years). Also, Benoit's mom might want to watch what he's doing in the kitchen a little closer 🤣

I heard lots of wonderful statements in this episode. Having worked in geriatric, oncology, and hospice, it's life affirming to hear how others are coming to terms with end-of-life issues.---I just wish I didn't cringe every time I see a patient pulled backwards in a W/C...that is a forbidden no-no in America.

It’s so good to laugh, even during traumatic times. The young girl with the ‘Hairy Toes’ 😂, her nurse who saw her, then told everyone to be watch out as she has really hairy toes, that made me laugh so hard. Especially when she said, be careful, the hair might get stuck in the wheelchair wheels. You have to be able to laugh. I also wanted to say, Georgina, the nurse looking after Margaret is an absolute angel, what a beautiful soul.

What a wonderful soul this nurse has. Her gentle care of the lady was lovely to watch.
